Congratulations to David Littman. the Littman family and everyone at Hudson Valley Lighting on today’s ceremonial ground breaking for a new 150,000+ sq. ft. research, design and distribution center proposed for Scobie Drive in the City of Newburgh. The project site is owned by the City of Newburgh IDA and is a former landfill. The site will be remediated through the NYS DEC Brown Field redevelopment program. A Federal grant was also obtained to help fund City sewer, water and storm water infrastructure to serve this project and potential commercial development of adjacent City owned property. The end result is that by virtue of non partisan support and efforts of Mayor Kennedy and the entire City of Newburgh City Council, Congressman Maloney, Governor Cuomo, State Senator Larkin, Assemblyman Skartados, County Executive Neuhaus and other Federal, State, County and Local representatives this project, which will help to revitalize the City of Newburgh and retain and create jobs for City of Newburgh and Hudson Valley residents, is close to becoming a reality. J&G, LLP is proud of the part we have played as Legal Counsel for Hudson Valley Lighting and were honored to attend today’s event. We look forward to attending the ribbon cutting for the completed facility in the near future.
