J&G Attorneys Selected to Present Continuing Education to Dutchess County Board of Realtors
WALDEN, N.Y. – Two attorneys at the law firm of J&G, LLP (J&G) were selected to present a continuing education course to the Dutchess County Board of Realtors. On October 21, 2021, Marcia A. Jacobowitz, Esq. and Michael Wagner, Esq. provided a three-hour continuing education course titled, “Overcoming Legal Obstacles and the Impact of Trusts and Estates on Real Estate Transactions.” The presentation covered topics such as avoiding potential loss of commission, how divorce and death can impact a real estate transaction, landlord/tenant impacts on real estate transactions, disclosures required by sellers, probate and estate administration, property ownership, estate selling checklists, and more.
Marcia concentrates in commercial and residential real estate and equine law, and Michael concentrates in estate planning, wills, trusts, guardianships, Medicaid asset protection, and real estate law.
