THREE ATTORNEYS AT JACOBOWITZ AND GUBITS ELECTED AS OFFICERS OF THE WOMEN’S
WALDEN, NY – J&G, LLP is pleased to announce that on June 22, 2022, Rebecca Johnson, Esq., an associate concentrating in matrimonial and family law, was installed as President of the Women’s Bar Association of Orange and Sullivan Counties. Cynthia Hand, Esq., an associate concentrating in estate planning, was elected as President-Elect and Delegate to the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York. Kelly Pressler, Esq., Partner, concentrating in civil, commercial, municipal, and Surrogate’s Court litigation, was elected as Treasurer and Immediate Past President.

The Women’s Bar Association of Orange and Sullivan Counties (“WBAOSC”) is one of twenty chapters of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY), an organization with over 4,000 members. The mission of WBAOSC is to promote the advancement of the status of women in society and of women in the legal profession.
Rebecca earned her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Stony Brook University Honors College in Stony Brook, New York in 2012. She earned her Juris Doctorate in 2015 from Boston University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. Rebecca is the recipient of the 2021 Outstanding New Lawyer Award from WBAOSC.
Cynthia earned her Bachelor of Arts in 2002, from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA with a major in Political Science. She earned her Juris Doctorate in 2006 from Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut where she was a member of the Tax Law Society and concentrated in Federal Taxation. Cynthia is the recipient of the 2022 Outstanding New Lawyer Award from WBAOSC.
Kelly received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, magna cum laude, in 2006 from Siena College in Loudonville, New York and her Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, in 2009 from Albany Law School in Albany, New York. Kelly is the recipient of the Orange County Rising Star, 2019, and the 2016 Outstanding New Lawyer Award, as presented by WBAOSC and was named an Upstate New York Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
