Rachel J. Rosenwasser is an associate attorney at J&G Law, LLP, practicing both residential and commercial real estate law with a strong emphasis on New York real estate regulations. In addition to her real estate practice, Rachel is also an experienced estate planning attorney, helping clients navigate important decisions to protect their assets and plan for the future.
Rachel provides strategic legal guidance in estate planning, focusing on drafting wills, trusts, and other essential documents. As an estate planning attorney, she is dedicated to delivering personalized solutions that reflect each client’s unique circumstances and goals.
Rachel earned her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences, cum laude, from the University of Rhode Island in 2009, where she was inducted into Alpha Kappa Delta, the Sociology Honor Society, and played Division I softball. She received her Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School in 2013 with concentrations in real estate and entertainment law.
Before joining J&G Law, Rachel gained valuable experience working at regional law firms and interning with the Legal Aid Society of Orange County. She brings this well-rounded perspective to her current practice, combining in-depth real estate knowledge with effective estate planning strategies.
Rachel has been a member of the New York State Bar Association since 2014. In 2023, she was honored with an AV Peer Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting her professional excellence and ethical standards. She formerly served as Chair of the Governance Committee for the Business Council of Greater Montgomery and is an Ambassador for the Orange County Chamber of Commerce. She is also a graduate of the Patterns Fellows Program Class of 2023 and graduated from the Leadership Orange Class of 2025.
Rachel lives in Ulster County and enjoys hiking and exploring new restaurants in her free time.
