J&G Law Hosts “Abundance” Book Club
WALDEN, NY – J&G Law Partner John C. Cappello welcomed a group of community leaders and stakeholders to a book club discussion of “Abundance” by Ezra Klein and Derek Thompson on June 25, 2025. The event, held at J&G Law’s office in Walden, explored the books’ themes and ideas on how to break through the many barriers and misconceptions that impede the development of diverse housing opportunities, alternative energy infrastructure and innovations in science and technology.
Attendees included a diverse cross section of community leaders in the fields of economic development, planning, government and non-profits, who engaged in thoughtful discussion on how to apply the book’s principles to promote sustainable growth and community development. “This book club event provided a unique opportunity for our community to come together and discuss and work to achieve consensus on innovative ideas for shaping the future of our region,” said John Cappello, Partner at J&G Law.

John C. Cappello is a Partner at J&G Law and has been with the firm since 1988.
